At Sabai Leela we provide specialist hands-on treatment for a wide range of presentations. We do not just treat pain, we also look to find why the pain has occurred and how we can hopefully stop it coming back.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is used by people of all ages who suffer from pain, tackling complaints ranging from sports and work-related injuries to arthritis, sciatica and migraine. The osteopath’s role is to alleviate pain and improve the patient’s function and mobility.
Since the Osteopath’s Act 93, all osteopaths are Primary Health Care Practitioners. That means that Osteopaths are educated to and on a par with doctors and dentists. The British Medical Association recognises osteopathy as a discrete clinical discipline. When visiting an osteopath you have the same safeguards as when visiting your doctor or dentist.
Visiting a Sabai Leela’s chelsea osteopath, you will be treated from 3 basic principles:
1) Your body is a whole and must be regarded and treated as such.
2) Your body can under the right conditions heal itself.
3) Your body’s structure and function are mutually interdependent.
Osteopathy recognizes that much of the pain and disability we suffer stems from abnormalities in our body’s structure and function. Osteopaths diagnose and treat problems with muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints to help the body’s natural healing ability.

“I was in a terrible motorcycle accident with a broken leg and damaged back. Six months after the operation I was still in a lot of pain and on a lot of painkillers. I had been discharged and even with MRI scans the hospital basically said I was recovered. I saw Peter and after the first treatment I felt immediate relief. He was able to give me a diagnosis and treatment plan and it was only after a few treatments that I felt 100% better – completely pain free!”
Katee, Social Media Manager and Amateur Footballer
“I hurt my back on a long photoshoot and a day of carrying heavy equipment. After only two treatments, Peter had me walking pain-free again. He manages to explain his treatment very clearly without medical jargon and is always very professional and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others seeking osteopathic treatment.”
“I was treated by Peter following a weight-lifting injury and found him to be a massive help in getting back to training. I would thoroughly recommend his services.”
Ian, Personal Trainer and ex-Commonwealth Boxer
“I don’t let anyone else touch my back except for Peter! When I went to see a physio, they said I’d be out for 2 weeks – Peter had me back on my feet in 2 days! He is a miracle worker!”
